New Top JUNIOR Studio Cash Award
Based on the number of entries, to be eligible studios need a minimum of 100 entries. Only entries received by the closing date will be tallied. After Nov. 5th entries will not be counted. 1st - $700, 2nd - $200, 3rd - $100.

Top teacher prize monies were increased last year(1st place=$3000)

This year there will only be a Show Dance divisions.
About The Kings Ball...
The year 2008 marks The Kings Ball Championships 15th Anniversary. This Championship originated in Brooklyn for the sake of 200 junior competitors to be able to compete close to home so as not to incur the expense of an out of town competition. It also allowed their parents and grandparents to see them competing for the 1st time. This impart is the reason for no entry fee to the ballroom for competitors, and a reasonable spectator fee. This year over 300 juniors are expected to compete. Other special features of the Kings Ball are:
The Kings Ball has a holiday sprit. On Sunday afternoon, join the fun and wear a hat, from serious to Santa hats.
I personally frequent all the restaurants, clubs and shops listed on site. Hope you will too!
